Haley Warner
Haley Warner is a senior at Clovis High and will be returning to the Cougar’s Growl as its sports editor for the 2016-17 school year. Warner has played many sports — some more successfully than others — throughout the years such as softball, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and soccer (the sport where her loyalty lies). Warner hopes to apply her knowledge of sports and love for writing to the Growl in an effort to continue the solid sports section left behind by her friends and last year’s sports editors, Taylor Tiger and Hayden Mammen.  The title of editor is a big responsibility and this small student is more than ready to take it on. Warner may not be the tallest, standing five-foot-one (and three quarters), but despite her height — or lack thereof —  she can be easily spotted in the parking lot with her lifted blue Chevy. Warner is definitely a kid at heart and shows this through her love of Disney, equal to any young child’s. Although she agrees that Disneyland is one of the happiest places on Earth, it is not the happiest place. Camping and exploring also rank high in the “happiness” category, her favorite place to do so being Washington City, California.  With such an adventurous spirit, you’ll be sure to see some great things from her in the near future so stay tuned to this year's Sports Section.
