Clovis High’s choral department performed in its annual festival concert, Choral Classics, in the Paul Shaghoian Concert Hall on March 14. Once again, the performers earned a superior score in each category.

According to choir member, senior Serena Myers, this high level of performance is a tradition at Clovis High.

“I feel like here at Clovis High we do have a standard for excellence,” explained Myers. “So it’s always our goal to score superiors.”

For those who wish to come out and support the department in their upcoming events, the choir will be hosting “mic night” performances in the choir room throughout April.

Additionally, the department’s final concert, Twilight Serenade, will be held in May in the school amphitheater where food trucks will be open for business.

Myers encourages students to come out and join in the fun!

“More students should come,” said Myers. “It’s not just for parents and family!”

“It’s entertaining,” said sophomore Kyle Jefferies. “A fun way to spend the night!”
